We are Sam & Sarah. Minnesota is our home and we love working as a team to provide hospitality and comfort to each of our amazing guests. 

When our family grew from four to seven (in just a matter of minutes - through adoption), we wondered if we would ever be able to travel again. Resources were tight and we had a love for travel. We knew that making memories as a family would be really important. 

In the summer of 2016 we opened up our home to strangers, for short term rental stays, as we took off for an epic road trip with five little ones in tow. "Are we crazy?!?" we asked many friends. 

We made amazing memories that summer! 

Over 250 guests stayed in our home that summer. When we returned from our trip the house was in excellent condition and all of our traveling expenses had been covered by guests!

Our house wasn't perfect, but it was our home, and we loved sharing it with others.

Slowly over time we made one improvement after another...updating our 1950's home with warmth, amenities and comfort. To this day we still rent out our home, Casa Blanca, when we travel. 

We also discovered a love for hosting and sharing what we have with others. Our small children grew to teens, some have graduated and left the house and we began sharing a tucked away gem of our home with guests, even when we aren't traveling. The Hidden Garden Suite & Spa was born. A private area for couples and friends to celebrate anniversaries, birthdays and spend quality time together. We wanted to provide a memorable Minnesota experience so we added an outdoor hot tub and sauna. Now, with repeat guests, who come back again and again, we think everyone should experience this hidden gem in the city. 

In the Spring of 2023 we had the opportunity to purchase a home in Fridley, MN on the Mississippi River - just ten minutes from where we live. It had been beautifully remodeled on the inside by the previous owner. We painted the outside of the house, put in new steps down to the river and furnished and styled the inside of the house. All being done, with you in mind, our guests. 

We named it, Sunset Shores, and it is one of our favorite places! It sleeps up to 12, has a beautiful indoor soaking tub (bubble bath included!) and numerous amenities. 

We wanted to make a portion of the house available to smaller groups (at a more affordable price), so we created, Sunset Shores Suite. Up to 4 guests can book the Suite (blocking the whole house rental calendar with no other guests on the property) and enjoy the main level amenities with all of the same great river views!
