I eventually got it down.
Currently, I regularly schedule out An Inviting Home projects to Pinterest using ViralTag (something that I started using before they significantly raised their price.) However, you might be surprised that I don’t spend a whole lot of time on Pinterest. That is mainly because of time restrictions, but also because of a few things I have learned.
Truth be told, I am actually a huge fan of Pinterest. Most of the time I hear people refer to Pinterest negatively because of all of the “picture perfect” projects out there. There sure are a lot of them…and I look at that as a good thing! What a rich resource where peoples’ gifts and talents are being used and evident to (for the most part) benefit and help others. The key is reminding yourself that no ONE person is creating all of that content! We all need to know our limits. For instance, you will hardly EVER see a recipe posted to Pinterest by An Inviting Home…because that wouldn’t be helpful to anyone!
When I do take a few moments to use the awesome resource of Pinterest, I make it work for me and not against me. I created this phrase to help me keep things in perspective.
