1) I numbered the pictures on the tub to help us coordinate the matching puzzles. I started at 10 since I knew that we already have some other puzzles labeled downstairs with smaller numbers. You can also use letters, symbols, etc. The possibilities are endless.
4) I labeled a Ziploc bag with the coordinating number for the puzzle to be stored in. Once that was done we put the bags back in the tub and into the family room they went.
BONUS TIP: Do you ever find random puzzle or game pieces lying around your house? Me too! 🙂 To help with this problem, I grabbed a little plastic basket and now keep it on top of our shelving in our family room where all of the games are stored.
Have you tried this labeling system before or do you have another system that you use to keep game and puzzle pieces together? I would love to hear about them!
